Happy New Year!

New year, new website! 2022 was very eventful for me. It was my first full year living in Washington (after spending 18 years in San Diego). I bought a house. I completed over 40 pieces of art. I participated in a number of live painting events and met lots of amazing artists in the Tacoma art community. AND I wrote my FIRST novel, Catalyst, which I am currently working on editing.

I often get overwhelmed by ALL THE THINGS I need/want to do. Between work, art, writing, and housework I rarely feel like I have time to unwind. My goal for 2023 is not necessarily to slow down, but to try harder to enjoy the things I do. Enjoy the artwork I create. Enjoy the time I get to spend with my coworkers. And enjoy telling the stories of the characters in my book. These things mean a lot to me and I want that to be apparent in my work product.

I plan to provide monthly progress reports regarding my works in progress, upcoming events, and shop updates.
