Happy February!

I’m writing this pretty late in the month, but it’s been a busy one! I celebrated my birthday a few days ago with a delicious meal prepared by my lovely boyfriend. It was a nice time. Then I treated myself to a succulent wreath class at a local Tacoma plant shop, ReRooted, where the lovely Krissy fed me cupcakes and taught me how to make a gorgeous succulent wreath. Such a nice time!

As usual, I’ve been stressing like crazy trying to find time for all the things. This month, I created 11 brand new Mr. Pricklepants designs, got dozens (DOZENS) of new stickers printed, and wrote 10,000 more words in my manuscript (as well as did some solid editing of earlier chapters.

I joined a writing group. Mixed feelings. On one hand, it’s so helpful talking to other writers. It definitely makes me feel much less alone with my struggles. On the other, it’s so hard determining which criticism is constructive and what is just well-intentioned noise. It’s rough putting something I love out there for people to judge! At the end of the day, though, that is sort of the point…

I’m working on getting the shop fully functional so I can start making sales here instead of Etsy! Looking forward to adding those stickers - I really think you’ll love them as much as I do!
